Senior Front-End Developer- Analytics & UX Focused (Remote)

Our platform empowers Consultants and Professionals in the Training, Leadership Development, Learning and Culture Change space to demonstrate measurable impact through our tech-enabled change methodology. We re looking for a UX-obsessed front-end engineer who can turn complex analytics and participant workflows into intuitive, high-impact user experiences. This role starts with full ownership of front-end development with a potential path to product leadership for someone who wants to grow beyond pure engineering. WHAT YOU LL DO Enhance the Analytics Experience • Own the front-end development of our interactive, flexible, analytics solution delivering high-performance dashboards and data visualizations for our users and their stakeholders. • Design analytics experiences that are easy to use, trustworthy, and executive-ready, translating complex data into actionable insight. • Ensure consistency and reliability across reporting, permissions, and role-based views. Own the End User Experience • Modernize and streamline onboarding, authentication, and core workflows. • Design intuitive, accessible, and motivating user flows that encourage consistent adoption and engagement. • Ensure performance, responsiveness, and accessibility across devices and operating systems. Collaborate Across the Stack • Work closely with back-end engineers integrating MySQL, Python services, and Laravel/PHP APIs. • Improve performance and reliability across all user-facing experiences. • Help evolve our design system and front-end standards. Drive Product from Concept to Delivery • Partner with Client Success and Engineering to turn ideas into clear scopes, user stories, and technical plans. • Identify MVPs, make smart tradeoffs, and prioritize what delivers the most user value. • Act as a bridge between design, engineering, and product-bringing clarity to ambiguity. • Own features from discovery through delivery and iteration. Grow Into Product Leadership (Optional Path) • Act as a feature owner and product partner. • Contribute to roadmap discussions and discovery. • Mentor others and influence technical and product direction. • Progress toward a Product Lead / Product Manager role, if desired. WHAT WE RE LOOKING FOR Core Front-End Experience • Strong experience building complex applications with both Vue.js and React. • Confident working with CSS frameworks (we use Bootstrap and Tailwind). • Experience building client-facing, executive-ready analytics dashboards. • Hands-on experience with Highcharts or similar visualization libraries. • Experience integrating with REST APIs and backend systems. • Experience building multi-lingual interfaces. • Experience measuring and improving front-end performance (CI/CD or browser-based testing). • Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., code assistants, design tools, testing or documentation aids) to improve development speed and quality. • Strong judgment in reviewing, refining, and validating AI-generated output. • Comfort integrating new tools into daily workflows while maintaining high engineering standards. UX & Design Strength • Strong UX judgment and superior attention to detail. • Experience translating designs into polished, production-ready interfaces. • Comfortable creating wire frames in Figma or similar tools. • Experience contributing to design systems. • Familiarity with UX analytics tools (e.g., PostHog). • Knowledge of accessibility and responsive design best practices (WCAG 2.2 AA). Prioritization & Collaboration Skills • Product-minded approach: from problem definition to shipped solution. • Comfortable working with ambiguity and evolving requirements. • Experience prioritizing and scoping work strategically. • Effective, professional English communication skills and ability to explain reasoning and decisions clearly. • Ability to collaborate and work flexibly with North American teams and time zones. Backend & Platform Awareness • Experience working with MySQL-backed APIs. • Familiarity with Python services and Laravel/PHP. • Experience with multi-tenant SaaS applications. • Understanding of authentication, permissions, and role-based access. Nice to Have • Experience modernizing legacy front-end code bases. • Background in B2B analytics or workflow-driven products. • Exposure to AI/LLM integrations in production. • Interest in product management or product leadership.
